Events for the general public

The Institut Jean Lamour is open to the general public and its research groups are are committed to making their research accessible to all. Our researchers participate in various events for the general public and our laboratory also organizes events for the public in its premises.

The IJL participates in the following events:

Heritage Days (September)

Visits of our 28400 m2 building and its 3 gardens can be offered on this occasion, in the company of an architect, a landscaper or members of the laboratory.

On this occasion, the laboratory opens its doors and offers stands, visits, conferences. Or its researchers and engineers take part in various events on the Lorraine territory.

Conferences

The IJL researchers regularly give conferences for the general public at the invitation of various organizations: Académie Lorraine des Sciences (ALS), Université de la Culture Permanente, Science en Lumière, etc.
