3LESS
Abstract
Surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors have been massively studied for several decades because they combine different interesting properties. They are in fact robust, exhibit remarkable sensitivity to various measurands, can be interrogated remotely using wireless techniques, while having reduced dimensions and cost. In addition, they are passive devices which can therefore be interrogated remotely without an on-board energy source, which further reduces the size of the system (batteryless). The goal of the ICEEL-3less project is to take a step forward in the study of these sensors, via the acquisition of an anechoic chamber which allows the wireless connection of these sensors to be finely characterized.
