E-DIAMANT

Abstract

This project, which brings together a consortium of 11 academic partners and 1 industrial partner, concerns the exploitation of a quantum technology based on the functionalization of NV centers present in diamonds.

This technology offers the possibility of manipulating the spin of a single electron in a solid state crystal at room temperature, suggesting potentially revolutionary applications in the field of quantum manipulation.

As part of this project, the IJL will acquire a near-field microscope with NV center. This will allow the non-invasive study of the magnetic texture of nanoscale samples.
