SOLANACEE (Nanosecond laser welding of hermetic connectors)

The objective of SOLANACEE is to break technological limitations by developing nanosecond laser welding in an industrial way on Axon’ Cable application cases.

The scientific literature shows that the nanosecond laser welding process has so far only been the subject of marginal tests, sufficient however to demonstrate its significant potential to address this type of problem. I

t is therefore a question of investigating the mechanisms and carrying out all the characterizations necessary to guarantee the use of this process in production.

A cell intended for R&D will then be designed to be integrated on the Axon' Cable site, benefiting from the tools allowing the development of innovative products for the connectors market.
