MagNet (magnetometry service)

Abstract

Two French (https://magnetometrie.cnrs.fr/) and European (http://www.magnetometry.eu/) networks in magnetic measurement, coordinated by Thomas Hauet, have developed, between 2015 and 2018, catalogs of offering magnetic measurement services and supporting R&D. In 2018 and 2019, the "commercialization" phase began and made it possible to increase the number of long-term industrial partners, and to verify the effectiveness of the procedures. In parallel with the networks (canvassing, technical exchanges, optimization, etc.), the co-financing of a post-doc / engineer by ICEEL made it possible in 2018 to ensure the smooth running of the quality certification process of the magnetism competence center and cryogenics (CC MagCryo) from the Jean Lamour institute (supported by the LUE Infra + team), to accelerate four R&D projects (detection of pollutants in the soil, magnetic sensor for temperature overshoot, magnetic 4D printing, magnetography), to support the R&D activities of the IMPACT LUE Nano4Sensor project, to increase the national and international reputation of CCMagCryo (collab. Saarbruck, Liège, Saint –Pétersbourg, etc. ), to carry out a French mixed academic-private partner workshop (Jussieu, 18-19 October 2018) and to lay the foundations for a lifelong training in magnetometry (ANF CNRS Nancy 2019).
